Fazer is specifically aimed at trained users such as physiotherapists, doctors, sports scientists, chiropractors and Rolfers.

Fazer is used exclusively for individual therapy based on specific indications – tailored to the individual patient. It is just as important to consider the dosage as it is to take possible contraindications into account.

Treatments with Fazer devices are not subject to any specific contraindications resulting from the use of the device. However,

the general contraindications for physiotherapy treatments and the ‘red flags’ apply. If these are present, further medical diagnostics must be carried out. These include, for example:

• Indications of malignant neoplasms
• Indications of involvement of the central nervous system or the vascular system
• Existing infections or inflammations
• Serious trauma
• Bone injuries
• Skin injuries or diseases
• Acute injuries with haematomas
• Use of anticoagulants or blood clotting disorders (according to Gautschi 2016, from a Quick value <20)
