Aerobic Bar | 122.5 cm, 3 - 6 kg

A weight bar – referred to by Gymstick as an "Aerobic Bar" – is a weighted, rod-shaped training device that can be used to perform functional full-body exercises. It combines the benefits of dumbbells with the length of a bar and is particularly suitable for strength, balance, and stretching exercises.

In the fitness world, both terms largely refer to the same piece of training equipment: a weighted workout bar. "Body Bar" is a brand name coined in English-speaking countries, but in Germany, it is also frequently used for cosmetic products (solid shower soaps) – when searching for the training device, therefore, the more unambiguous term "Gewichtsstange" (weighted bar) or "Aerobic Bar" is recommended.

For beginners and for stretch or mobility exercises, the 3kg version is recommended. For classic strength and endurance training, the 4kg or 6kg versions are suitable. In a therapeutic context (physiotherapy/rehabilitation), training often starts with the lower weight and is increased depending on training progress.

The Aerobic Bar is suitable for squats, lunges, rotational exercises, overhead presses, core stabilization, and classic stretching exercises – often in combination with a step.
