CrossHair Laser – Precision Laser for Posture and Alignment Feedback

The CrossHair Laser expands the Motion Guidance laser range with a variant that projects a precise crosshair instead of a single dot. This additional visual reference element makes it possible to assess the alignment of a body part not only at a single point but simultaneously in two axes – for example, whether the head is held horizontally straight or whether the torso tilts forward or to the side during an exercise. For therapists and trainers, this provides immediate, objective feedback on posture, which can be used both in static holding positions and during dynamic movements.

Like the other Motion Guidance lasers, the CrossHair Laser can be flexibly attached to the head, torso, or extremities using compatible mounting brackets and hygienic body straps. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications: In physiotherapy, it can be used, for example, to assess head and neck alignment in cervicogenic complaints, in neurological rehabilitation to train upright trunk control – such as in lateropulsive postural patterns after a stroke – and in a sports context to improve body tension and alignment in technical movement sequences.

The CrossHair Laser can also be directly integrated into existing Motion Guidance training environments: In combination with a tracking grid like the Compact NeuroStation NS2 or the Interactive Pods, combined exercise settings are created where posture control and target orientation are trained simultaneously. The compact, battery-operated design ensures straightforward handling in daily practice, without additional technical effort.

As with all Motion Guidance products: The CrossHair Laser is a visual feedback instrument to support training and exercise instruction. It does not replace medical diagnostics and should be used in a therapeutic context in consultation with a qualified professional.
