Interactive Pods – App-Controlled Reaction and Feedback Pods

The Motion Guidance Interactive Pods are an app-controlled system of luminous training targets that make it possible to train reaction speed, accuracy, and motor control in a playful way. Unlike classic reaction light systems, the pods can be activated in two ways: classically by touch – for fast footwork and agility drills, for example – or contact-free via laser, by aiming the head, shoulder, or torso at the respective pod. This dual activation method opens up a wide range of applications, from classic reaction training to complex sensorimotor exercises.

Numerous predefined games and exercise formats are available via the free Motion Guidance App: from simple reaction tasks to color and memory games, and even tasks with targeted cognitive additional load, such as simultaneously processing color and position stimuli. For more demanding applications, an optional Clinician subscription offers additional, clinically oriented game variants. The pods can be flexibly attached to the floor, wall, training surfaces such as the Compact NeuroStation NS2, or directly to the body, making them suitable for a wide range of applications: gait training and fall prevention in geriatrics, sensorimotor training in neurorehabilitation, but also reaction and agility training in competitive sports.

A key advantage over comparable systems is the free positioning: the pods can be rearranged depending on the exercise goal, allowing training stimuli to be individually adapted to the range of motion, target group, and training phase. Those who want to expand the system later can upgrade to a total of ten pods with the Interactive Expansion Pack, allowing for even more complex floor-wall combinations. As with all Motion Guidance products, the system serves as a supplementary training and feedback instrument and does not replace medical or therapeutic diagnostics.
