Product description

The THERABAND Bodytrainer Tubing is a resistance band in tube form (also called a tube) with flexible loops as handles. You grip the loops, pull against the resistance of the tubing, and thereby specifically train your upper body. Typical exercises include pulling movements like rowing or arm curls, which primarily work your arms, shoulders, and back depending on the exercise. The tubing is suitable for fitness and conditioning as well as for rehab exercises, in the gym just as at home.

The loops are already attached to the tubing. This makes wrapping the band around your hands unnecessary, and you are ready to start faster. Unlike rigid handles, the flexible loops give way in the hand and adapt to your grip. An improved loop lock ensures that the loops are securely fastened to the tubing. The total length is approx. 1.40 m including the handles.

Six colors represent six resistance levels: Yellow (thin), Red (medium), Green (heavy), Blue (extra heavy), Black (special heavy), and Silver (super heavy). Choose the level with which you can perform every exercise cleanly and safely, and only increase once the movement is performed in a controlled manner. Those who wish to increase the resistance later should switch to the next higher color.

The tubing is made of natural rubber latex. If you prefer a different type of grip, you can also find the Bodytrainer Tubing with foam handles and with fixed handles (rigid plastic handles) from us.

Note: Contains natural rubber latex, which can cause allergic reactions. In the event of pain, discomfort, or after injuries and surgeries, we recommend coordinating the training in advance with a doctor or a physical therapy practice. The tubing does not replace a medical diagnosis or treatment. It is not a toy and should not be handled by children.

FAQ

Which muscle groups do I train with resistance bands?

Tubing is intended for upper body training, rehabilitation, fitness, and conditioning. During pulling exercises such as rowing or arm curls, you primarily target your arms, shoulders, and back, depending on the exercise. In the event of any complaints, it is best to consult a doctor or a physiotherapy practice regarding your exercises.

Which resistance level is the right one, and how do I increase it?

The six levels range from yellow (easy) to silver (super hard). Choose the level at which you can perform each exercise correctly and safely, and start with a lower resistance if anything. Once you can perform the exercise with control, you can move on to the next color.

Is the tubing also available in gold?

In our shop, this body trainer tubing is available in six colors from yellow to silver. Silver is the highest level here (super heavy).

Is the tubing latex-free?

No. The THERABAND Bodytrainer Tubing is made of natural rubber latex. The manufacturer points out that latex products can trigger allergic reactions. You should not use it if you have a latex allergy.

How do I use and maintain the tubing safely?

Check the tubing for cracks, punctures, and nicks before and after every use and do not continue to use it if damaged. Keep sharp objects such as jewelry, rings, or fingernails away from the band, do not stretch it to more than three times its resting length, and never let go of it while under tension. Clean it with mild soapy water, pat it dry, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
