Product description

The THERABAND Bodytrainer Tubing is a resistance band in tube form with permanently attached foam handles. You grip the handles, pull against the resistance of the tubing, and thus train your upper body in a targeted manner. The tubing is suitable for fitness and conditioning as well as for exercises in rehab, in the studio, or at home.

The foam handles are the major difference compared to a band without handles: they sit comfortably in the hand, offer a firm grip, and make wrapping the band around your hands unnecessary. This means you are ready to go faster and can concentrate on the exercise. An improved loop lock ensures that the handles remain firmly attached to the tubing. The total length is approx. 1.40 m, including the handles.

Six colors represent six resistance levels: Yellow (thin/light), Red (medium), Green (heavy), Blue (extra heavy), Black (special heavy), and Silver (super heavy). Choose the level with which you can perform every exercise cleanly and safely, and only increase once the movement can be performed in a controlled manner.

The tubing is made of natural rubber latex. Alternatively, we also offer the Bodytrainer Tubing with firm handles and with flexible handles, so that you can choose the version that fits your exercises.

Note: Contains natural rubber latex, which can cause allergic reactions. In case of pain, discomfort, or after injuries and surgeries, we recommend discussing your training in advance with a doctor or a physiotherapy practice. The tubing does not replace a medical diagnosis or treatment. It is not a toy and should be kept out of the hands of children.

FAQ

What is the benefit of resistance bands with handles compared to bands without handles?

Handles provide a secure grip and you don't have to wrap the band around your hand or wrist. This makes starting easier and provides a more comfortable hold for pulling exercises. The foam handles on the Bodytrainer tubing are permanently attached.

Which resistance level is the right one?

The six levels range from yellow (easy) to silver (super hard). Choose the level at which you can perform each exercise correctly and safely, and start with a lower resistance rather than a higher one. In the event of discomfort or following an injury, it is best to coordinate the level with a doctor or a physiotherapy practice.

Is the tubing latex-free?

No. The THERABAND Bodytrainer Tubing is made of natural rubber latex. The manufacturer points out that latex products can trigger allergic reactions. You should not use it if you have a latex allergy.

How do I use and maintain the tubing safely?

Check the tubing for cracks, punctures, and nicks before and after every use and do not continue to use it if damaged. Keep sharp objects such as jewelry, rings, or fingernails away from the band, do not stretch it to more than three times its resting length, and never let it go while under tension. Clean it with mild soapy water, pat it dry, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Which versions of the body trainer tubing are available?

We offer the THERABAND Bodytrainer Tubing with foam handles, fixed handles, and flexible handles. The resistance levels range from light to super heavy.
