Frequently Asked Questions TheraFace

Application

How do I use TheraFace PRO and each facial care treatment?

Before you get started, here are a few important tips to keep in mind:

Each facial treatment can be used for a maximum of 8 minutes, with the exception of percussive therapy. The device will beep three times to indicate that the maximum time has been reached.

The device will beep after 15 seconds (any facial treatment except percussive attachments) to indicate that you should aim the device at a different part of your face. The device will beep twice to indicate when the ring or attachment is not properly attached or has been accidentally removed.

The center ring button on the device controls the intensity settings of the microcurrent attachment, the LED light therapy ring, and the hot and cold rings (sold separately). The top button controls the speed of the percussive attachments and the cleansing ring.

The blue light setting of the LED light therapy ring should not be used with the percussive therapy tips to prevent the spread of acne.

The microcurrent attachment should always be used with a conductive gel provided with the TheraFace PRO device.

The cleansing ring can be used with any facial cleanser except facial cleansers with microbead scrubs or granules.

Do not use the Hot-Ring if you suffer from melasma or hyperpigmentation, especially if these are made worse by mild heat.

Generally

What is facial health and why does TheraFace offer true facial health therapy for the face?

Facial care also goes under the skin. Daily stress and tension affects the entire body, and the face is no exception. Facial care also goes beyond beauty and includes everything from your complexion to the underlying facial muscles.

TheraFace PRO goes where no other facial device has gone before. It brings Therabody's renowned technology behind percussive therapy to the face to reduce tension, relax facial muscles and nourish the face at the deepest level - a thorough facial care for the whole face. This all-in-one facial care device offers more science-based treatments than any other device - from skin-tightening microcurrent therapy to rejuvenating light therapy to a revolutionary new method for deep facial cleansing.

And because every face is unique, we've equipped the device with an easy-to-use magnetic ring system that lets you seamlessly switch between treatments and even combine them. As your needs change, the TheraFace PRO changes with you. It's time to go beyond beauty, because true facial care goes under the skin.

What makes the TheraFace PRO different from other facial treatment devices?

Not only does TheraFace PRO offer more treatments than any other facial device (8-in-1, to be exact), but there has never been a device that has adapted percussive therapy for the face. As a device that offers benefits to your complexion and the health of the underlying facial muscles, it is a true pioneer in the new facial health category. And with the modular ring attachments, multiple treatments can be applied simultaneously for the ultimate personalized routine.

How is TheraFace therapy for the face similar to percussive therapy with the Theragun?

We pioneered percussive therapy over a decade ago and have now adapted the same renowned technology behind Theragun for a relaxing facial massage. With an amplitude of 3mm, TheraFace PRO safely and gently relieves stress, tension and mild facial pain and discomfort.

Just as each Theragun attachment is precisely tailored to the body's unique physiology, the TheraFace attachments are also precisely tailored to the unique structure and contours of the face. The Flat attachment can be used generally for the entire face, neck and chest area. The Cone attachment enables more precise treatment of target areas such as nasolabial folds, pressure points and the eye area. The micro-point attachment increases blood flow in the larger areas such as the forehead, cheeks and chest.

cleaning

How do I clean TheraFace and the attachments?

TheraFace PRO is waterproof and should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth or alcohol-free cleaning wipe. Do not completely submerge the device in water as it is not fully waterproof.

The TheraFace PRO attachments should also be wiped clean with a damp cloth or alcohol-free cleaning wipe, but not immersed in water. The deep cleansing ring is the only attachment that is fully waterproof and fully water washable.
