When selecting our product brands, we attach great importance to quality, efficiency proven by sports science and fun during exercise. Because only those who have fun remain motivated to exercise in the long term.

Our values

People and their environment are at the center of our actions. We are continuously working to minimize our pollutant emissions as a company.

We work with self-produced green electricity and are constantly expanding our product range with fitness equipment made of natural materials such as leather, wood and cork. Europe as a production location is one of our minimum requirements here.

The journey began over 40 years ago

Ludwig Artzt GmbH was founded in 1981 by Ludwig Artzt. Initially working as a sales representative in medical technology, he soon recognized the potential of the physiotherapy and fitness industry.

The same applied to the world-famous Thera-Band, which Ludwig presented at German trade fairs and congresses from the late 1980s as the official German representative. Together with his sons Felix and Philipp, “Mr. Thera-Band” traveled across the whole of Germany. With the famous fitness band in his luggage, he would finally exclaim: “You've finally arrived!”

Over the years, the “doctors” managed to establish TheraBand as a synonym for fitness and quality. Further quality brands followed and are regularly added to the wide product range to this day. Today, ARTZT is managed by Felix Artzt, the second generation of the family to do so.

Every single ARTZT product is the result of over 40 years of experience and scientific knowledge in the fields of sports, athletics and physiotherapy. This makes all the difference that you can feel during training.
